  For those of us who haven’t got the time to spend pampering ourselves at home but would like nice nails that won’t chip or break, then OPI Axxium or Bio Sculpture Gel  is the answer. You can come into the clinic with bitten, broken, uneven nails and leave with a gleaming set of natural looking nails. Gel is the kinder alternative to acrylic nail extensions. We do not use harsh chemicals or nasty drills, all tip blending is done by hand and before tips are adhered to the natural nail a layer of gel is applied to protect the nail. People who come to us with no nails generally start of by have tips and gel overlays, they then usually have one set of infills after two weeks, then two weeks later have the nails soaked off and just overlays on their now longer and stronger natural nails!

OPI Axxium or Bio Sculpture Gel are nail treatments that strengthen and promote the growth of natural nails. Applied onto a prepared nail the products cure under a UVA light, leaving the nail strong but flexible with a natural glossy finish.

You do not have to have your nails extended with this system.  We have alot of clients who are having a gel finish as an addition to their manicure instead of an application of nail varnish.  This means that their colour will be chip free for up to three weeks!  Great for holidays or just for those people who like nice nails but get fed up having to keep painting them because they chip after a couple of days with varnish.

Gel overlays on natural nails 

Nails are prepared, conditioned, and shaped. Cuticles are treated then gel is applied in a colour, clear or French manicure finish, as with a varnish two layers of colour are then followed by one layer of clear.Lastly a brilliant top coat is applied to protect the gel.

Tips and Gel overlays

Nails are prepared, conditioned and shaped, you do not need to have them all filed down really short!. Cuticles are treated then a protective layer of gel is applied before tips are sized, adhered and hand blended to the desired shape and length. Gel is then applied in several thin layers. Leaving you with a perfect set of natural looking nails!

I’m confused OPI Axxium or Bio Sculpture!

We are fully trained in both systems, both systems are of comparable quality it is just that some people prefer the Bio Sculpture finish and some people prefer the Axxium finish because they can match up their favourite OPI varnish and make the gels last even longer beween infills!. We advise our clients which would be more suitable for their nails and lifestyle.

For those people who like to have a salon treatment that they can follow up with home care we recommend that they choose OPI for polishes that are so glossy they look wet.  The secret to making a manicure last one to two weeks is to regularly top up the colour fill in any chips then apply top coat to give that just manicured look!

Hand Heaven

Treat yourself to a luxurious rejuvinating treatment for the hands.  Hands and forearms are exfoliated using a Pure Fiji sugar scrub rich in oils and leaves skin feeling silky soft, cuticles are fed with a nourishing oils and massaged.  A rich and nourishing Pure Fiji body butter is  gently massaged into the forearms and hands before a deeply relaxing and intensely moisturising paraffin wax mask is applied to the hands.  Whilst the mask is pushing all the natural ingredients of the body butter into the hand a freshly brewed tea or coffee will be offered,  ready for you to have when the mask is removed.  When the mask is removed cuticles are treated, nails are filed and brushed to remove any dust before a strengthening base coat then colour of you choice are applied finishing with an ultra glossy fast drying top coat. If a massage chair is free you are more than welcome to sit in one and relax whilst you let your manicure dry.

CAHN SOS manicure

To start with hands and nails are analysed to determine what products are to be used.  Then a gentle exfoliation is performed using Cahn aromatherapy products, followed by a relaxing hand and arm massage.  Cuticles are treated and a moisturising masque is applied before the hands are slipped into heated mittens to enable deeper penetration of oils and creams, softening the cuticles, improving circulation and soothing stiff joints.  Finally after the masque is removed nails are shaped and a prescriptive base coat applied before the hardwearing nail varnish of your choice.  To end the treatment a high gloss protective top coat is applied followed by OPI quick dry drops.  This is our most popular manicure treatment.

Express Manicure

For those people who are short on time and want a treatment that will treat the cuticles, moisturise the hands as well as having a nail file and paint.

Foot Heaven

Treat yourself to a luxurious rejuvinating treatment for the feet.  Hard skin is removed using a buffer, then feet are soaked in a warm bath of exotic blend pure cold pressed virgin coconut oil. Feet and lower legs are exfoliated using an organic pure sugar cane and coconut scrub, cuticles are fed with a nourishing oils and massaged.  A rich pure cold pressed coconut based body butter is  gently massaged into the feet and lower legs before a deeply relaxing and intensely moisturising paraffin wax mask is applied to the feet.  Whilst the mask is pushing all the natural ingredients of the butter into the feet a massage treatment in our massage chairs is offered. Refreshments are offered to ensure your comfort.  When the mask is removed cuticles are treated, nails are filed and brushed to remove any dust before a colour of you choice is applied between a prescribed base coat and ultra glossy fast drying top coat.  Your feet won’t want to leave us! Just make sure you have flip flops!!!

CAHN SOS Pedicure

Sit back, relax and be pampered. Starting with a thorough hard skin removal then foot and lower leg exfoliation using natural occurring alpha hydroxy in a pure cane sugar scrub infused with essential oils, enzymes and coconut oil. Followed by cleansing in a warm coconut milk bath. Now follows a relaxing foot and leg massage  using heavenly coconut butter. Feet are then swathed in an intensly moisturising masque whilst the nails are filed and cuticles shaped. Finally your choice of colour is applied to your nails, finishing with a super glossy top coat.
Allow one hour.

Callus Terminator Pedicure

An essential foot treatment using pure sugar cane AHA products for softer, smoother feet. Hard skin is gently removed using the amazing Callus Terminator pads… they simply melt away that annoying hard skin!!! Thermal bootees are used to enhance the effect of the Callus pads, then cuticles are treated and feet massaged.   Leaving your feet feeling light weight and deeply moisturised. The treatment concludes with a  nail paint for perfectly polished toenails. Plus of course you are offered a massage in our massage chairs.

Express Pedicure

For those people who are short on time and want a treatment that will treat hard skin with a soak and foot scrub, trim cuticles and moisturise feet as well as having a nail file and paint.

Nail File & Paint

This is a treatment for in between manicures, no cuticle work is carried out nails are simply filed, a treatment base coat applied followed by two coats of colour then a protective high gloss top coat.  It is appreciated if you can remove any old varnish before your appointment.
