Exfoliating Body Scrub

Hydration Wrap Therapy

A natural, aloe based balm is swaddled in a thermal wrap to infuse the skin with moisture. Ideal for sun exposed skin!  While cocooned you will be treated to a therapeutic pressure point facial massage.

Thermal Detox Wrap Therapy

A sumptuously luxurious treatment the easy way to detox!  Relax in this thermal cocoon, infused with aromatic botanicals and purifying seaweed and mineral clay. As the powerful self heating clays warm the body the natural detoxification process is stimulated and aching muscles and joints are soothed.  While cocooned enjoy a firming and toning pressure point facial massage.   Just make sure that you drink plenty of water afterwards to help the body to get rid of the unwanted toxins that have been released.

The ideal pre-holiday treatment.  Exfoliating body scrub then your choice of wrap.  Leave with silky smooth moisturised skin. 

Firm & Tone Body Scrub and Wrap

This secret of this unique treatment is the combination of Pure Fijian milk and honey used to smooth firm and tone the body.  There is no need to shower after this treatment all the products are absorbed into the skin working in unison to naturally exfoliate, work on cellulite deposits and feed the skin.  It is a sensory experience which will leave you deeply relaxed and with soft and firm skin.

Fijian honey & coconut milk are combined to hydrate, nourish, tighten and strengthen the skin. Organic cane sugar combined with exotic drift nut oils gently exfoliate the skin. Next, a moisturisung honey masque high in antioxidants and vitamins is applied and gently massaged into the skins using warm stones. The exotic blend of coconut milk, raw honey and exotic nut extracts contains a rich source of natural anti-oxidants and a bounty of nutrients to revitalize, moisturize and balance the skin. Currently here @ Papillon we offer two brands of spray tan, California Tan which offers golden undertones and XEN-TAN which offers olive undertones, both are explained below:

XEN-TAN has been developed to provide a beautiful olive tan in minutes.  The tan can last up to 10 days, depending on your aftercare, fading gradually and naturally.  With its unique ingredients it won’t go patchy or streaky and, if that is not enough it smells delicious too!!  No more nasty fake tan smell!  XEN-TAN is a self tan that isn’t drying to the skin, it won’t gather at the ankles or elbows or leave those awful tell-tale signs around the wrists, plus once you have been sprayed there is no uncomfortable stickiness!.  XEN-TAN starts to develop in 3 hours much quicker than traditional spray tans.  XEN-TAN products are formulated to flatter people with even the fairest of skin tones.  To prolong the life of your XEN-TAN we recommend the use of the ‘TRANSFORM’ gradual self tanning lotion/moisturiser, this adds days onto the life of your spray tan…. but use it sparingly one application boosts your colour amazingly!

California Spray tan is a fantastic realistic looking fake tan with golden undertones. It is applied using a hand held spray gun to insure even coverage in an application time of around 7 to 10 minutes, and you are ready to get dressed immediately. The tan then develops over the next 6 hours. Ideally showering should be left until the next morning to allow the tan to develop to its full potential. Exfoliation is recommended before treatment.

The tan will last 5 to 7 days on the majority of people, but this does depend on how you maintain the tan and how your body works with the tan. We currently offer two shades of California Tan, ‘classic’ which is the one that the majority of people have and ‘dark’ which is for those people who either have a base tan or want to look very dark!’

Spray Tan Preparation

• exfoliate for smooth skin and even tanning results, spend a little extra time on knees, ankles, feet, elbows and hands.
• shave at least 6 hours before your appointment, wait 24hrs after waxing.
• do NOT moisturise skin within 2 hours of appointment.  Lotions can create a barrier, preventing the even absorption of the tan.
• make-up can be worn, but for best results it is advisable not to wear any.
• wear dark loose fitting clothes, the bronzer can transfer to clothes it washes out but doesn’t look very nice.
• do not wear wool, nylon or silk during or after your tan for at least 8 hours staining could occur.
• remove deodorant before tan application, failure to do so may result in green armpits… this is only temporary and will disappear when you shower.

Maintenance

• avoid water for up to two hours after your tan application, if you do get splashed gently blend in the splash marks with the bronzer that is on your skin.
• It is best to leave the tan on for 7-8 hours before showering.
• when you shower for the first time the cosmetic bronzer will be washed off, don’t worry you will be left with a lovely even tan.
• moisturise after every shower, using California Tan tan Extender will keep your tan looking more vibrant for longer.
• remember to wear extra protection when you are in the sun, your tan offers you no protection it is purely cosmetic.
• shower rather than have a bath your tan will last longer.
• pat your self dry don’t rub after a shower.
• if going swimming in a chlorinated pool, drip dry!
• do not exfoliate for at least 48 hrs after your tan application.  When you do exfoliate, do so gently and evenly to preserve an even sunless tan.
